Mentoring

After 16+ years in professional software engineering — and even longer tinkering with computers before that — I mentor developers, career-changers, and technical founders who want practical guidance, not textbook theory.

My day-to-day work spans full-stack .NET development, application architecture, DevOps, and on-prem/cloud infrastructure for Nordic SMBs. I have built and shipped products as an owner, architect, and hands-on developer across web, mobile, and backend systems. That range is what I bring to mentoring: I have sat in every seat at the table.

What I can help with

  • Career direction in IT and software engineering — from first job to senior/lead roles
  • Full-stack development with C#, .NET, Angular, React, and modern web stacks
  • Architecture decisions: when to refactor, when to rewrite, and when to leave working code alone
  • Cloud vs. on-prem trade-offs, Docker, Ansible, and building infrastructure you can actually operate
  • Clean Architecture, DDD, and structuring business applications that survive real-world change
  • Freelance and consultancy paths — pricing, scoping, client communication, and sustainable delivery

How I mentor

I keep it direct and hands-on. We talk through your actual situation — a stuck legacy migration, a career fork, a system design you are unsure about — and I share what I would do based on 16 years of shipping software in Denmark and across the Nordics. No fluff, no generic slide decks.

If you are early in your career, switching into IT, or levelling up as a developer or tech lead, reach out and tell me where you are stuck. I am open to informal chats and structured mentoring sessions.
